Spa and Gym
Carved into natural volcanic rock, the two serene treatment rooms at Spa Poz add another level of indulgence to your stay at Sunrise Attitude. In keeping with its eco-friendly philosophy, treatments* are based on the natural elements of Mauritius and use 100% natural products. As well as the usual facial and body therapies, the soothing spa is also home to four indulgent signature treatments.
Practice tai chi, qi gong or yoga with a master.
The small gym is open every day from 7am to 8pm, and has a treadmill, an elliptical bike and free weights.
Enjoy guided energy walks on the beach, a weekly bootcamp, walks in the fields, and volleyball and football on the sand all on offer. For an extra payment, you can also play golf, go horse riding and head out on a bike ride.
Watersports
There is a PADI Diving Centre not far away which offers trips for experienced divers and courses for beginners.
Swim and snorkel in the lagoon, hit the pool for a lively game of water polo or an aquagym class, or treat yourself to a kitesurfing session – the conditions here are ideal. If that all sounds too strenuous, you could simply enjoy the ocean from the comfort of a glass-bottom boat or sleek catamaran.
There’s a zero-single-use-plastic policy, with refillable glass jars for everything from coffee to shampoo in every room. When you buy the all-natural products at the spa, 5% goes to the Green Attitude Foundation, which helps fund sustainable projects. Guests are provided with Mauritian-made mineral suncream, which reduces the risk of damage to the reefs and marine life. Otentik Bazar, the resort’s boutique, features the work of talented local artisans and small companies, helping to support the island economy.
