Overlooking the beautiful landscapes of the Ayung River valley, Alila Ubud is perfect for couples and honeymooners looking for a secluded scene yet within easy reach of Ubud. It boasts one of the world’s most photographed pools – an infinity edged slice of water that seems to plunge into the rich green valley below. The rooms blend traditional Balinese architecture, contemporary interiors with captivating views of the surrounding tropical landscapes and outdoor bathrooms resembling exotic spas.
Highlights:
- As sunset approaches, you’re routinely greeted by a troop of curious wild monkeys.
- Floating above the valley, Alila Ubud’s signature infinity pool is a real-life utopia.
- Easy access to local culture. Cycle through rice paddies, visit ancient temples and explore Ubud’s art scene.
- A private dinner at Bale Bengong is a Champagne tasting treat suspended from the trees.
